The Minolta X-300 is a 35mm manual focus SLR using the SR lens mount beginning in 1958. Similar to X-500, the main visual difference between them is that for shutter dial of X300 is covered, showing only the chosen speed (up to 1/1000s) / Auto if the aperture priority mode is set.
The chosen shutter speed is indicated in the viewfinder with a LED spot, with a touch of the shutter button. Therefore, it is a very user-friendly function that allows you to judge if the photo is under or overexposed.
